I moved into an old terraced house in London with my partner and I'm trying to change it from plain shabby to shabby chic!
I'm an old (literally!) fan of Shabby Chic furniture. I would much rather have something 'pre-loved' than something shiny and new. This is just as well as I can't afford much new stuff anyway! Lol!
Years ago a friend and I used to buy stuff from junk shops, paint it up and sell it on. It was fun and provided a bit of pin money. Sometimes it was really hard to let the stuff go though :-)
